    Has anyone out there had any experience with growing peanuts within proximity of black walnut trees? I cannot find a pro/con about this.

    I have walnut trees on both sides of my suburban yard. The squirrels plant them everywhere in my yard, and I have learned how to spot the sprouting trees. They don’t generally cause any more difficulty than any other weed, but I pull them out before they get big. I don’t grow peanuts in this cold climate (NE Colorado) so I cannot address the peanuts.
