    Working on growing Bamboo timber types for a renewable wood souce along with Hackberry n Live Oak n Elm in close quarters to provide wood for winter heat of home… Bamboo is only half the energy value of the hardwoods, however, it is easily harvested with minimal risks of injury. Sounds great for a growing older population.



    Bamboo is not good to burn, the smoke is more toxic then basic wood trees like birch or pine. I dont recommend burning bamboo if that is what you will be doing with it, you mention winter heat for home…
